PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination sensor which can judge whether the inclination sensor is installed upside down and which is assembled easily. SOLUTION: The inclination sensor is constituted in such a way that the case of the inclination sensor is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape two opposite faces of which are square, that a sensor means which senses the inclination of the case is provided inside the case, that a plurality of electrodes which are connected respectively to a plurality of contacts provided at the sensor means are installed on the two opposite faces and that, even when the case is turned by every 90 deg. from a reference position with reference to the centers of the two opposite faces, a relationship between the inclination of the case and the electrodes on the two opposite faces with reference to the reference position is not changed.
