PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic dustproof device improved in feed efficiency of a disc at a projected part of a rotary disc screen by changing the direction of sucked water flow at an intake to obtain the pressing force to the disc without counter-flow. SOLUTION: In this automatic dustproof device, a rotary disc screen A is formed by disposing a plurality of cylindrical screen units 1A having a number of discs 1 fixed at designated spaces to a rotating shaft with the discs 10, 10 of the adjacent cylindrical screen units 1A, 1A overlapping each other, and the rotary disc screen A is disposed at the intake G, and the downstream end part of the rotary disc screen A is extended from the intake G to form the projected part C. In the above device, a guide blade 6 is erected substantially at right angles to the screen surface of the rotary disc screen A at the back of the projected part C of the rotary disc screen A.
