PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a titanium sheet hard to be discolored even when used in the environment to be irradiated with light such as the outdoors. SOLUTION: In this method, a titanium sheet in which the content of carbon in a carbon-concentrated layer as the surface layer is controlled to <=150 mg/m2 by a rolling method, pickling or polishing is annealed in an oxidizing atmosphere or a nonoxidizing atmosphere and, in the case of being annealed in the oxidizing atmosphere, is further subjected to descaling by molten salt immersing treatment and an aqueous solution of nitric-hydrofluoric acid.
