PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fleece mat eliminating equipment investment and running costs of a roll cutter by regulating the width of the fleece F1 in a predetermined size when forming the fleece F1 by accumulating an opened staple fiber on a net. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing a fleece-like mat comprising an opening process forming the cotton-like fiber by opening raw fiber, an accumulating process forming the fleece F1 by accumulating the cotton-like fiber and a pressing process forming the fleece-like mat F2 by pressing the fleece F1, installs a regulating process (cut fin plate 26) between the opening process and the pressing process to arbitrarily regulate the size of the fleece F1 in the width direction and abolishes the utilization of the roll cutter equipment.
