<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distributed route setting method by which processing in a home agent can be reduced and network resources can efficiently be used. SOLUTION: When a mobile node MN is under the domination of a foreign agent FA to which its own address is not registered, the node MN registers its care of address of the FA to the FA, the FA registers the care of address to a home agent HA to which the address of the node MN is registered, the HA obtains a shortest path Rmin 1 between a communication host and the MN, uses a contact point between the Rmin 1 and a shortest path Rmin H (between the communication host and the HA) for a relay agent TA1, the HA informs the TA1 about the address and the care of address of the MN, the TA1 acquires a packet (directed to the HA) from the host to the MN, capsulates the packet with the care of address, transmits the capsulated packet to the FA through a tunnel path TR1 and the FA decapsulates the packet and transmits the result to the MN.</p> |
