PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit where the configuration of an external interface part such as a pad, terminal and the like is reduced for less size and price with higher integration. SOLUTION: A signal outputted outside from a signal processing circuit 10 is inputted, by twos, in a quadruple signal generating circuit 20, and converted into a single quadruple digital signal, then outputted from a semiconductor integrated circuit 1 through an output pad 30. If a quadruple signal is inputted in the semiconductor integrated circuit, each input signal ID1, is inputted in a binary signal generating circuit 50 through an input pad 40, and converted into two binary digital signals SI1 and SI2, and then inputted in the signal processing circuit 10. Thus, the number of pads and terminals comes to a half.
