PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch that is suitable for use in the key switch of a keyboard device and capable of being made thin. SOLUTION: A keytop holder 24, which holds the keytop 9 in rising and falling movement, is locked on the top of the housing 8, and a projection 16 which protrudes downward is provided on the bottom of the housing 8. A membrane switch 2 of a sheet shape is held by the housing 8 and the support plate 1 in between, and a step portion 19 which enters through the passing hole 2a of the membrane switch 2 and protrudes upward is provided on the supporting plate 1. This step portion 19 has an insertion hole 1a on the top face and a cavity 18 on the bottom face side. A projection 16 of the housing 18 is inserted into the insertion hole 1a of the step portion 19, the top end of the projection 16 is caulked inside the cavity 18, and a cavity portion 16a is formed, thereby the three of the housing 8, the membrane switch 2 and the supporting plate 1 are integrated.
