PLATE TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate type heat exchanger capable of reducing a welding work between respective plates upon manufacturing. SOLUTION: The plate type heat exchanger is constituted of a plurality of flow passages, through which at least two kinds of fluid can be conducted to flow and which are formed by superposing a plurality of disc type plates having a through hole and connecting the peripheral rim part of the disc type plate to the peripheral rim part of the through holes so that heat exchange can be effected between fluids which flow through respective flow passages. In this case, the peripheral wall of through hole of one plate 3A is raised up annularly to form an annular part 100 while the annular part 100 is inserted into the through hole 17B of the other plate 3B to bend the annular part 100 outward in the radial direction thereof to caulk and connect so as to pinch the through hole wall 101 of the other plate 3B.
