PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assembling shield segment by which a first segment, a second segment, and an intermediate structural member can be joined easily to each other in a designed state in a shielding lining structure in which the intermediate structural member constituting a column, wall, or floor is joined between the first and second segments in a state where the segments are faced oppositely to each other. SOLUTION: One unit of shielding lining structure is constructed in such a way that, after upper and lower segments 1 and 2 and a structural member 5 for column are jointed to each other in one body at the center of the tail section 11a of a shield machine 11, the upper and lower segments 1 and 2 are connected to an already existing shielding lining structure and the segments of other sections are joined to the segments 1 and 2.
