PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weedicide method for a road surface and its road surface structure capable of surely preventing growth of weeds in a boundary portion of a road surface, and facilitating construction of the structure to an existing road. SOLUTION: This road surface structure is provided with a concrete product disposed in a boundary portion of the road surface, and a recessed groove formed on the road surface along the end face of the concrete product, and at least either a weed preventing insert or a filler such as silicone or the like is disposed in the recessed groove. The weed preventing insert is formed of resin having designated elasticity or substantially V-shaped so that the width of the top face is set larger than the opening width of the recessed groove, and provided with a slip-off preventing mechanism. The insert is disposed in the recessed groove through a filler or the like.
