<p>This invention relates to infrared dyes and their use in microparticles. Specifically, combinations of at least two dyes that absorb in the infrared region of light are used to provide a broad absorption spectrum. The infrared dye composition is incorporated in or on microparticles. The microparticles may subsequently be used in determining the presence of a ligand of interest or physical property of a sample.</p> |
