CURVED ILLUMINATED DISPLAYS

The present invention discloses a curved edge illuminated display (2, 3) for use as an advertising medium on the columns (1), for example, of a shopping centre. A curved transparent sheet (5) has a half tone (18) applied to its rear surface. The edges (10) of the sheet (5) are illuminated by lamps (9). In this way a transparent image (8) is back illuminated. The display can be either convex or concave.
