PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler capable of improving effect of reducing noise to the utmost without increasing cost. SOLUTION: A neck part 3 of a resonator 2 is connected to a specified position of a suction duct 1. Length of the neck part 3 is varied in a circumferential direction. The resonator 2 can thus be provided with a range of resonance frequencies, thereby effect of reducing noise can be improved without increasing cost compared to a device of conventional technique comprising the neck part 3 having a constant length. |
