PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance sealing component having a safety valve, which can surely break a safety valve portion, when the inner pressure of a case reaches above a prescribed value, with softening of a part which forms the safety valve portion, without impairing the strength of a case body as a whole. SOLUTION: The safety valve portion 4 of the sealing component 1 with the safety valve has a groove part 4a for breaking of a prescribed depth, formed at a part of a cap body 3 for airtightly sealing the inside of a case 2, and the cap body 3 has a thin portion 4b at a part, where the groove part for breaking 4a is formed. Hardness of the cap body 3 in the vicinity of the groove part for breaking 4a, including this thin portion, is set lower than that in the portion farther away from the groove part 4a, so that when the inner pressure of the case 2 rises, the thin portion with lower hardness starts to break easily, desorbing the rising inner pressure out of the breaking portion, which prevents blowing out of the case 2 from occurring.
