The server for VRML display in the server device 6 acquires the avatar position information, etc., of a user for a browser for VRML display in the terminal device 2 and selects an object on a three-dimensional virtual space, corresponding to the viewpoint area of the user. The terminal device 2 sequentially reports throughput information of a memory size, etc., to the server device 6, and the server device 6 adjusts the quality of VRML data representing the object in accordance with the throughput information, user information obtained from a user information management server and the available network area and transmits the VRML data to the terminal device 2.
