PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a yield of a first twist multifilament yarn is low because of a yarn break to rise a production cost, make the improvement of the productivity impossible, reduce largely strength of the nap yarn after the nap finishing, because when producing a nap yarn, a strong tension must be applied to the first twist multifilament yarn, and the feed speed of the first twist multifilament yarn can not be increased. SOLUTION: The plural first twist multifilament yarns X, Y and Z are brought into contact with a frictional false-twisting body capable of turning the whole thereof to cause a rotational movement so that the false twist is applied thereto, and also to cause the autorotation-like rotational movement of each of the first twist multifilament yarns X, Y and Z so that the first multifilament yarns may be grazed by each other to cause the break of a part of the constituting single filaments and to form the naps by the breakage, to provide the objective nap yarn.
