PURPOSE: To provide an optoelectronic device and projector which may be efficiently manufactured and are low in a manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: This optoelectronic device is provided with a pair of substrates 3a and 3b and optoelectronic elements 4 grasped by a pair of these substrates 3a and 3b, by which liquid crystal panels 141R, 141G and 141B are constituted. The outer surface of at least one of a pair of the substrates 3a and 3b is provided with an antistatic layer 1 and therefore even if static electricity is generated on the panel surface, the static electricity eventually escapes through the antistatic layer 1 and the adhesion of dust, naps, etc., to the liquid crystal panels 141R, 141G and 141B may be prevented and consequently the deterioration of the images by accompanying the adhesion of the dust, naps, etc., during manufacture or the use by users may be prevented.
