DRY RAMMING MATERIAL REFRACTORY COMPOSITION FOR REPAIRING ROAD OF ELECTRIC FURNACE

PURPOSE: A dry ramming material refractory composition for repairing the road of an electric furnace is provided, to inhibit the permeation of the melted metal and slag into the refractory material due to the graphite which is low swelling and hardly reacts with the melted metal and slag. CONSTITUTION: The refractory composition comprises 40-50 wt% of a magnesia clinker which contains 97 wt% or more of MgO and is coated with graphite; 30-40 wt% of a dolomite clinker coated with graphite; 10-15 wt% of magnesia powder; and 10-15 wt% of dolomite powder.
