PURPOSE: A fabrication method of a synthesized flux which exhibits excellent efficiency in removal of non-metallic inclusions without dust scatter and decreased attack against ladle and furnace refractory bricks is provided. CONSTITUTION: The fabrication method of a synthesized flux includes the steps of blending 25 to 45 wt.% of loess sludge generated as byproduct during manufacture of magnesia clinker, 10 to 30 wt.% of decarbonated sludge, 40 to 60 wt.% of aluminum hydroxide and 5 wt.% or less of sodium borate; melting the mixture at a temperature of higher than 1360 deg.C, followed by extraction and drying.
