PURPOSE: An IPS LCD(In-Plane Switched Liquid Crystal Display) with multiple domain is provided to obtain liquid crystal layers dry-evaporated by one of mechanical mask, photoresist, UV processing, ridge and fringe field method, thereby realizing the multiple domains and the wide viewing angles. CONSTITUTION: An IPS LCD with multiple domain includes a lower substrate(81) having a first surface, a first transparent conductive layer(82) deposited on the first surface, an upper substrate(91) having a second surface, a color filter(92) deposited on the second surface, a second transparent conductive layer(93) deposited on the color filter, a liquid crystal layer(83) firstly dry-evaporated on the first transparent conductive layer, a secondary dry-evaporated liquid crystal layer(94) facing the first dry-evaporated liquid crystal layer with a predetermined distance adjacently, a plurality of transparent or opaque spacers(96) distributed with a uniform size in a space between the first and second dry-evaporated liquid crystal layers, and liquid crystal(95) disposed in the space between the first and second dry-evaporated liquid crystal layers, wherein the first and second liquid crystal layers are divided into a plurality of pixels which have at least two domains and boundaries, and the multiple domains and the dry-evaporated liquid crystal layers are obtained by a method selected from a group including mechanical mask, photoresist, UV processing, the ridge and fringe field method.
