PURPOSE: A billing method according to bandwidth is provided to recognize an IP address of a certified user, to assign a predetermined bandwidth, and to bill the user for a bandwidth charge, so as to differently assign bandwidths according to programs or usage time zones. CONSTITUTION: A certification module confirms whether a connected user is a member(S200). If so, a bandwidth assignment module recognizes an IP address of the user(S210). The bandwidth assignment module generates a virtual channel of a predetermined bandwidth, and assigns the virtual channel to the user according to the recognized IP address(S220). A billing module bills the user for a corresponding charge according to the assigned bandwidth(S230).
