mechanical engineering; compressors. SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor has impellers and guide vanes with constant angle of inclination of outlet edges in height. First stages of compressor compose from 5 to 20% of total number of stages (preconnected compartment), middle and last stages composing 15-20% and 60- 80%, respectively (main group of stages). Angle of inclination of outlet edges of guide vanes are equal to 90-100 degrees, 65-70 degrees and 60-65 degrees, respectively. Diameter of root section at initial section of first working blade of preconnected compartment is made 10-15% greater than diameter of root section of main group of stages at subsequent monotonous reduction. EFFECT: increased efficiency of compressor owing to optimization of shape of setting in meridional section of preconnected compartment. 1 dwg
