PURPOSE: A device for adjusting steering rack-stroke of a vehicle is provided to offer convenience of driving by changing minimum turning radius to adjust quantity of stroke of steering rack at a driver's discretion at need. CONSTITUTION: The device for adjusting steering rack-stroke of a vehicle is composed of a rotating body(22) arranged to rotate on both ends of power cylinder(12) forming steering system; a stop plate(26) to be inserted into the central part of the rotating body or overlapped according to rotational state of the rotating body in case of rack of being pulled to the utmost into power cylinder; and actuators rotating or reversely rotating the rotating body while controlling the rotating body through control of a control unit according to operation of an operating switch of a driver. The rotating body includes a gear part formed on the outer circumference side as a circular member and a penetration hole formed at the central part. The penetration hole includes focusing part at the central part and the other part except the groove part of sector type is composed of an extrusion by formation of groove parts of sector type at both sides. Stop asperity(36) to control movement of the rack is formed on one side of the two groove parts. |
