PURPOSE: A coating method of cushion material between a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) panel and a backlight unit is provided to solve the difference in time required to bond a tape and in quality depending on the skill of a worker, as well as to coat cushion material to an injection mold frame rapidly with precision. CONSTITUTION: To coat cushion material, a three-axial control robot is used. The robot consists of an air generator(41) generating air required to discharge silicon or rubber bonding material of liquid or paste type at ordinary temperature, a regulator(42) changing the pressure and amount of generated air, an air tube(48) for flowing air, a cartridge(43) storing the liquid type bonding material, an injector needle type nozzle(44) injecting the bonding material with air pressure, and plural transfer motors(45,46,47). The nozzle is replaced depending on the width of desired bonding material on each bonding part of an injection mold frame and a TFT panel. The discharge amount of bonding material is adjusted by the air pressure controlled by the regulator. The bonding material is coated with desired thickness by control of motor RPMs(Revolution Per Minute).
