transport engineering; railless wheeled vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed emergency brake has brake plate, pressure unit, and reset unit arranged under vehicle bottom. Brake plate is made of rubberized plastic reinforced material. Front edge of brake plate is connected through axle to vehicle body bottom in rear axle area, and rear edge of brake plate is connected to body through reset unit. Pressure unit is made in form of flexible gas- filled bag. Reset unit can be made as necessary, without special restrictions. EFFECT: improved efficiency of braking owing to increase of area of adhesion of vehicle with road pavement at braking. |
