PURPOSE: A burglarproof computer is provided to protect safely the data of a PC owner and to trace and fine a stolen PC by using a GIS. CONSTITUTION: A user authentication software module(1) checks if a current user is allowed or not. A theft determination software module(2) outputs an alarm message and sound about the use of the stolen client PC(A). An alarm function module(3) notifies the user that there is a use restriction unless the user takes the authentication procedures, and sends a server(B) the theft fact, IP address, and place information of the client PC. The client PC system performs the data security function(4) by hiding a file or restricting the use. A remote control module(5) enables the client PC owner to access, copy, move, delete, and encode the important data in remote. The remote control module(8) of the server is an interface module for accessing software installed in the client PC. A trace function(7) finds the final place of a stolen PC on the network by using the date, time, and IP address, and visually displays the final place by linking the GIS. A theft management function(6) is monitoring and reporting the functions(1,2,3,4,5,7,8,9) of the client PC and server.
