INTEGRATED DEVICE FOR RECEIVING INFRARED RAYS AND CONTROLLING POWER

PURPOSE: An integrated device for controlling power is provided to set or delete an optional remote control key as a driving key by configuring an infrared receiving module, and to be driven when an infrared signal including data corresponding to the set driving key is inputted through the infrared receiving module, to control power of connected home appliances, so as to control power of home appliances not-having remote controls by using an optional remote control. CONSTITUTION: A remote control has many keys and outputs infrared signals including regular data when a key is operated. An infrared receiving module(2) receives the infrared signals of the remote control, and outputs the data included in the signals. When a user inputs a specific key consecutively, a microprocessor(3) sets the key as a driving key. If an infrared signal including data corresponding to the key is inputted in the infrared receiving module(2), the microprocessor(3) compares the data with data stored in an EEPROM(4). If the two data are the same, the micro processor(3) outputs a driving signal for turning on/off load. The EEPROM(5) stores the data of the driving key. A relay switch(5) switches a power input terminal of the load according to the driving signal of the microprocessor(3). A light emitting diode(6) is turned on when the driving signal for turning on the load is outputted from the micro processor(3), and displays whether the load is operated.
