The actuating mechanism has a built-in power source, using compressed gas which displaces a plunger for striking the free piston with its subsequent displacement for ejection of a dose of liquid, and a plunger lock, the chamber with compressed air exerts permanent pressure on the plunger. The ampulla is made of glass with a piston in the body. The piston is made of material that is inelastic at a slow application of force and elastic at a quick application of force, or contains polytetrafluoroethylene.
