PURPOSE: A pickling agent composition which has increased corrosion resistance and pickling performance without reducing the surface brightness of a steel sheet is provided. CONSTITUTION: The pickling agent composition is characterized in that it comprises at least one additive selected from a polycyclic amine represented by (CH2)6Nn1Hn2, wherein n1 is within 1 to 4, n2 is within 0 to 4; a polypeptide-based compound represented by formula I, wherein n is 25 to 1500, R1 and R2 is respectively hydrogen, alkyl or aryl containing C1 to C12 functional groups of amino acid; a phenyl methyl pyrazole represented by C10Hn1Nn2O, wherein n1 is within 10 to 12, n2 is within 1 to 2; and a stearyl chloride represented by CH3(CH2)nCl, wherein n is 15 to 20. In case that the pickling agent composition contains just one additive, each additive contained in the pickling agent composition is as follows: polycyclic amine 0.1-20g/L; polypeptide-based compound 0.1-20g/L; phenyl methyl pyrazole 0.1-10g/L; stearyl chloride 0.1-10g/L. In the case that the pickling agent composition contains more than two kinds of additives, the total amount of additives is regulated within 0.1 to 20g/L.
