Improvements to pallets

The improved pallets of the present invention incorporate means which allow them to be placed safely on sloping surfaces, for example roof slopes or embankments. In the preferred embodiment of the invention a pallet is provided with hinged extendable legs. The legs may be provided wit adjustable stays or braces and may be provided with anti-slip feet. The legs may be provided on two or four corners of a pallet and are preferably such that they can be folded flat within the pallet when not required for use. The pallet may be provided with hooks for grasping roof batons.
