PURPOSE: To improve the response characteristic of a liquid molecule with respect to an electric filed at the switching operation in the liquid crystal display device of an MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) system. CONSTITUTION: The concentration of a photosetting object by a photosetting composition having a liquid crystal frame with respect to the liquid crystal molecule of spray or bend deformation is set to be 0.3 to 3 wt.%. The liquid crystal frame is formed in a state where it is tilted against a substrate. The average tilt angle of the liquid crystal molecule is set to fall within a range made by the pole angle of the liquid crystal frame and the pre-tilt angle of the liquid crystal molecule near the interface of the substrate.
