PURPOSE: A communication terminal having a caller ID function is provided to detect a caller ID in a called terminal to compare the caller ID with predetermined data stored in the called terminal, so as to intercept an access of the caller ID or automatically connect the number to many sub terminals connected with the called terminal. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter/receiver(5) receives a signal of a calling terminal and transmits signals of main terminals and sub terminals. The first memory stores at least more than a piece of information of calling terminals, to prohibit access of the main terminals and the sub terminals by a prohibition mode. The second memory stores at least more than a piece of caller information for selectively connecting the sub terminals with the corresponding calling terminal by a selective connection mode. A switch(11) switches signal transmission paths between the main terminals, the sub terminals, and the transmitter/receiver. A controller(7) compares the caller ID information stored in the first and the second memories with caller ID information transmitted from the calling terminal, and decides whether to permit or prohibit the signal of the calling terminal in the prohibition mode and the selective connection mode.
