PURPOSE: An overspeed vehicle detector using wireless communication is provided to effectively control and prevent speeding of vehicle by wireless transmitting information of speed, location and a vehicle's number exceeding regulation speed to a certain position such as police office. CONSTITUTION: An overspeed vehicle detector comprises a terminal installed in a vehicle for processing and wireless communicating information of speed and location, and a central controller for receiving the transmitted information to process the information of speed, location and vehicle. The terminal includes a speed measuring unit for converting vehicle speed into electric signal, a location detector for detecting vehicle location, a database inputted with a vehicle identifying code and overspeed data, a microprocessor for processing the information, and a wireless communicating unit. The central controller includes a wireless communicating unit(21) for receiving data of terminal, a location identifying unit(22) for calculating location using location data, a central processor(23) for processing information and data, a database(24) for storing data analyzed from the central processor, and an auto sticker printer(25) for printing a notice for payment of a fine.
