<p>An optical connector (24) comprising a housing (28); a shield member (36) located in the housing (28); a ferrule (54) and optical member assembly (30) located, at least partially, in the housing (28); at least one locating pin (32) connected to the ferrule (54) and optical member assembly (30); and at least one combined pin lock and grounding member (38). The locating pin (32) extends from a front end of the ferrule (54) and optical member assembly (30). The combined pin lock and grounding member (38) connects the locating pin (32) to the housing (28) and is adapted to electrically connect a mating member (25), in which the optical connector (24) is inserted, to the shield member (36). <IMAGE></p> |
