PURPOSE: A nozzle assembly for component mounter is provided to achieve a high stiffness and high accuracy mounting by improving the shape of nozzle and nozzle holder, nozzle supporting system and structure of nozzle replacement unit. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle assembly comprises a nozzle holder(10) and a nozzle(30) to be inserted into the nozzle holder. The nozzle holder includes a nozzle holder head which has an expanded cross section formed at an end of a hollow shaft, an inner conical surface partially formed at the inner surface of the nozzle holder head, and a cylindrical surface having a plurality of holes; a plurality of steel balls(15) positioned at the holes formed at the nozzle holder head; and a plate spring(17) surrounding the steel balls and the cylindrical surface of the nozzle head. The nozzle includes a nozzle body having a cylindrical intermediate section, a top-cut conical upper section, and a lower section with a reduced cross section; a nozzle blade(35) arranged between the intermediate section and lower section of the nozzle body, and which has a plurality of grooves; and a nozzle having a nozzle tip(37) formed at the lower end of the nozzle body.
