PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer allowing stable high-speed high-accuracy conveyance of a web passing through an image forming means, regardless of the kind of the web. SOLUTION: This web printer is provided with a buffer means 4 for correcting the traveling position of the web in the loosened state of the web; a tension applying means 6 for applying constant tension to the web delivered from the buffer means; a detecting means for detecting the traveling position of the web delivered from the tension applying means; a meandering correcting means 8 for correcting the meandering of the web on the basis of the output of the detecting means; and an image forming means 10 for forming an image on the web. |
