PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the added value of empty cans by recovering aluminum chips of high purity from the empty cans. SOLUTION: This apparatus for segregating crushed empty cans has a raw material chip introduction part 10 for introducing the chips CM of the crushed empty cans, magnetic selection part 12 for separating the chips CM introduced from the part 10 into magnetic chips CS and non-magnetic chips CK, and a first and a second aluminum chip selection parts 14 and 16 for selecting or segregating aluminum chips CA from the non-magnetic chips CK segregated by the part 12. The aluminum chips CA scattered at the terminal part of a belt conveyer 40 in the first aluminum chip selection part 14 fall on a segregation adjustment plate 60, bound, are brought down while bounding on the inclined surface route 66 of the second aluminum chip selection part 16, and pass through the suction port 70 of each step part 69 installed in the route 66. In this way, the aluminum chips CA can hardly be sucked to the side of a buffer chamber 88 in each suction port 70. Most of the chips CA reach the lower end of the route 66. |
