PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new oligonucleotide useful as the active ingredient of a carcinostatic, vitronectin aptamer and a new carcinostatic. SOLUTION: The oligonucleotide contains a base sequence among those represented by the following sequences: CAGCTCCGKS AGST, ACCTGACKSA GST or YCCVTNVYNT MSCTGCCY. The vitronectin aptamer comprises this oligonucleotide. The carcinostatic is obtained by including the oligonucleotide as an active ingredient.
