PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely remove foreign matter while treating garbage when hard foreign matter is mixed with garbage to be charged in the subject disposer connected to a sink. SOLUTION: In the disposer wherein a rotary blade plate 13 is provided to the bottom part of a crushing chamber 12 continued to a garbage charging port 11 and the garbage charged on the rotary blade plate 13 is spattered to be crushed, an opening part 7 is provided to the inner wall of the crushing chamber 12 and a foreign matter recovery box 20 is attached to the outside of the opening part 7, and a door 21 for opening and closing the opening part 17 and a door on-off device 30 are provided. When it is detected that foreign matter is charged, by an abnormal sound or a metal detection sensor, the door 21 is opened to open the inner wall of the crushing chamber and the foreign matter spattered by the rotary blade plate 13 is allowed to fly in the foreign matter recovery box 20 to be recovered and, after the door 21 is closed, a lid 23 of the foreign matter recovery box is opened to take out the foreign matter. |
