METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CORRECTING PAPER CURL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for positively and appropriately correcting paper curl. SOLUTION: This curl correcting method comprises a first curl correcting process for temporarily deforming and holding curl corrected object paper in cylindrical curved shape to forcibly apply a curl(CR) in a fixed direction, and a second curl correcting process for temporarily deforming and holding the paper in cylindrical curved shape in an opposite direction to the fixed direction after the first curl correcting process to eliminate the forcibly applied curl(CR). The curl correcting system for executing the correcting method is also provided.
