PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resistance to wet heat decomposition of a polycarbonate resin, comprising at least one phosphorous compound selected among phosphite compounds and phosphonite compounds, and that of a resin composition thereof thereby to provide a resin composition excellent in thermal stability, a product life and recyclability. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition (component A) comprising 100 wt.% of the total of 30-100 wt.% of a polycarbonate resin (component a-1) and 70-0 wt.% of other resins (component a-2), and incorporated therein, 0.0005-1 pt. wt. of at least one phosphorous compound (component B) selected among phosphite compounds and phosphonite compounds and 0.005-1 pt.wt. of at least one compound (component C) selected among metal carbonates, metal sulfates, metal chromates, metal titanates, silicon oxides, silicate compounds and metal oxides giving an aqueous solution or suspension having a pH of 6-8.5.
