PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a device for a raw yarn package clarifying the factors of cutting of the raw yarn generated due to winding attitude inferiority or improper winding conditions of the raw yarn package and stabilizing the winding quality of the raw yarn package. SOLUTION: This control method for the raw yarn package processed by a textile processing machine is characterized in that the yarn breakage position generated in processing the raw yarn package by the textile processing machine is found by the winding position from the winding start of each raw yarn package and displayed as the yarn breakage generation distribution in the winding position.
