ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic system which does not generate a time lag, transmits ultrasonic waves with different convergent points by every frequency components, and has good resolution in all depths. SOLUTION: When a transmitting part 2 receives an instruction of transmission from a control part 5, a chirp wave form is generated by an arbitrary signal generator 10 and amplified by an amplifier 12 to drive vibrators in a probe 1. Ultrasonic waves discharged from the probe 1 are reflected in an organism and received by the probe 1 and amplified and given with delay by which phases of signals reflected at a target point and then added. A band pass filtering process is carried out at a signal processing part 4 by determining the central frequency and the band from the relation between the frequency of the ultrasonic wave transmitted by a band pass filter 17 and the convergence depth.
