PLASTIC SUBSTRATE HAVING DIMENSIONAL STABILITY AND SHAPE STABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate which has sufficient dimensional stability and shape stability on the production of a panel for a liquid crystal color dis play. SOLUTION: 1. This plastic sheet characterized in that the dimensional change and warpage of the plastic sheet before and after each test are <=-0.02% and <=±1%, respectively, in a heating cycle test that the test for heating the plastic sheet in air at 150 deg.C for 3 hrs and then leaving the plastic sheet in 50% RH air 23 deg.C for one week is repeated three times. 2. The plastic sheet characterized in that the dimensional change and warpage of the plastic sheet before and after each test are <=±0.02% and <=±1%, respectively, in a warm water cycle test that the test for immersing the plastic sheet in 40 deg.C warm water for 1 hr and then leaving the plastic sheet in 50% RH air 23 deg.C for one week is repeated three times.
