<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for printing ink which does not use toluene and methyl ethyl ketone as solvents, has a low odor, is excellent in adaptability to printing, and does not crystallize at low temperatures. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains a polyurethane polyurea resin (I) prepared by subjecting a polyurethane prepolymer (A) obtained from a polymeric diol (a1) and a diisocyanate (a2) to chain extension with a diamine (B) and an organic solvent (II). The polymeric diol (a1) is a polyester diol prepared essentially from a dicarboxylic acid and a diol containing at least 50 wt.% branched diol. The organic solvent (II) does not contain toluene and a ketone solvent.</p> |
