PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the surface of an article such as CD from being contaminated by using an article supporting sheet and an article storing and protective sleeve being a protective body of this invention. SOLUTION: This article supporting sheet is preferably constituted of a flexible nonwoven material or an adhesive yarn material made of polypropylene and it is n article supporting sheet in which a number of protruded parts are provided on the sheet and by bringing the above described easily contaminated surface into direct contact with each of circular protruded parts at its central protruded top part, the whole surface of the sheet is brought into direct contact only with extremely smaller surface region in comparison with the case where it is brought into direct contact with the easily contaminated surface.
