PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety tire enabling to be easily manufactured, simply to install a rim, to hold low fuel consumption, having durability for normal travelling and having sufficient load supporting performance for punctured travelling. SOLUTION: The safety tire is assembled on a rim, a load of 0.8-1.3 time of the maximum load corresponding to the highest pneumatic pressure of the tire is loaded on an assembly body of the safety tire and the rim respectively and separately filled with internal pressure in the pneumatic tire and a tube, the tube has an outer peripheral part shape with a clearance between itself and an inner surface of a tread part in a tread part grounding region under a first condition to travel the assembly body at 70-120 km/h, internal pressure of the tire is made zero and internal pressure of the tube is maintained, and the tube has a structure to support the load by making at least a part outer peripheral part contact with the tread part in the tread part grounding region under a second condition to travel the assembly body with the above load.
