<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthesis gas producing method in which the consumption of fuel in a reformer can be reduced and the waste heat from the reformer can be effectively used by supplying natural gas, to which steam and carbon dioxide respectively preheated to higher temperatures are added, to the reformer. SOLUTION: The reformer has a steam reformation reaction tube, a combustion radiating part which is arranged around the reaction tube for heating the reaction tube by burning fuel and a convection part communicating with the combustion radiating part. When synthetic gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide is produced by supplying the steam-added natural gas and carbon dioxide to the reaction tube, the steam-added natural gas is preheated by making pass through the convection part and then supplied to the reaction tube and the carbon dioxide is preheated by making pass through the convection part and then supplied to the preheated steam-added natural gas passing through the flow path on the upstream side of the reaction tube.</p> |
