PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photopolymerizable resin composition that does not cause a metal adhering to the composition to be chemically degraded, and an optical recording medium obtained by using the composition. SOLUTION: A resin layer 35 of this optical recording medium 1 is formed by photopolymerization of a photopolymerizable resin composition comprising benzotriazole as an additive. Owing to the resin layer 35, no chemical degradation occurs on a first reflecting film 15 mainly composed of silver, when it is adhered to the resin layer 35.
