METHOD FOR FLUORINATING HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and simply producing a monofluoro compound in high selectivity and high yield while keeping freedom in using raw materials in monofluorinating a functional group-containing heterocyclic compound. SOLUTION: The monofluoro compound is selectively produced by dissolving a 4-20C heterocyclic compound having a functional group in a solvent which is inactive or having little reactivity to fluorine in a reaction condition, introducing fluorine gas into the solution and contacting the gas with the solution while maintaining the reaction temperature of a liquid phase at -30-10 deg.C.
